Fig. 3(a) shows transinet behaviours of the mass flux at the droplet surface with injection ratio as a parameter. The initial diameter of water droplets is 20 µm, while the initial temperature and humidity of the air in the duct is T1 = 35 ºC and RH1 = 20%, respectively. In the low fogging range (rf1 < 1), the mass flux decreases first with time. This is because humidity difference between droplet surface and ambient is a driving force for mass transfer and it decreases with time due to evaporation of liquid droplets.
